Claire Volk

Claire Volk is pursuing a B.A. in Sociology at Furman University. She is a student supervisor in Furman's Housing and Residence Life department as well as a manager in the university's Trone Student Center. She is also involved in Alpha Phi Omega, a national co-ed service fraternity that pursues a multitude of activities surrounding their three pillars of Leadership, Fellowship, and Service. Claire Volk is the recipient of the 2024 Clara M. Cover Memorial Award and the 2024 Johnson Webb Award for her outstanding performance in the field of sociology. Through the mission of My Neighbor's Voice, she is passionate about cultivating non-judgmental spaces for listening and expression. As a lover of art and culture, Claire enjoys traveling across the U.S. and to other countries, and she spends her free time attending live concerts featuring her favorite musicians.
